Consignment Sale - Proceeds

Each seller will receive 70% of the proceeds and Due West Treasure Chest will receive 30% of the proceeds.  Each seller will get a letter of donation for their 30% that the sale receives.  The proceeds that the sale receives are divided between the following ministries of the church:  children’s, preschool and nursery.  Some of the things that our children’s departments have purchased with the funds are: playground equipment and mulch, computerized check-in system for Sunday School (and it lists children’s allergies!), projection equipment, big screen TV, renovation of preschool Sunday School rooms, baby Bibles and t-shirts for nursery workers.

We also donate items that are donated by sellers to the Redemption Baptist Church clothing ministry.  They are located in downtown Acworth.  Their clothing ministry serves the community.  If they have more donations than they can handle, the extras are donated to Jean Paul’s Haitian mission.  All of our spring/summer 2007 donations were sent down to Haiti to orphans.  All of our donations are greatly appreciated.
