Consignment Sale - Sellers

Q. Why should I sell at a consignment sale?
A. You receive 70% of the proceeds from your items and you get to shop before the sale is open to the public.

Q. How many sellers do you accept?
A. 200. The last two sales we have had a waiting list, so register early to secure your slot.

Q. What are the minimum and maximum numbers of items I can sell?
A. You must have a least 50 items to sell.  You may sell a mazimum of 200 items.

Q. What are the registration dates for the Fall 2010 sale?
A. Registration for the Fall 2010 sale will take place on the following dates:
         Saturday, July 17 from 9:00 - 11:00 am
         Saturday, July 24 from 9:00 - 11:00 am
         Sunday, July 25 from 9:00 - 9:45 and 10:30 - 11:15 am

Q. Where does registration take place?
A. All registration takes place behind the "sunflower doors" on the North Campus of Due West UMC. To get to the North Campus, enter the campus from Due West Road and proceed straight.  North Campus is the last building you will come to and it has a steeple on it. This is also the building that is near Burnt Hickory Road.

Q. What information do I need in order to register as a seller?
A. When you come to register, we will need the following information:

         Name
         Address
         Phone Number
         Email Address
         $6 Registration Fee, No Deductions
            Drop-off time (must sign up for this at registration-please bring your calendar
            to avoid scheduling conflicts.)

Q. Why do you charge a registration fee?
A. The $6 registration fee helps Due West Treasure Chest offset the cost of paper, other consumable materials used at each sale and general operating expenses.

Q. As a seller, what time do I get to preview shop?
A. Sellers shop at 7:30 pm on Wednesday night before the sale. You may also sign up to work at the same time you register. Workers shop even earlier than sellers!
