Welcome to Due West United Methodist Church Recreation Ministry. Our mission is to reach the youth of our community for Christ through athletics. Experiencing the joy of being part of a team, the children are offered a positive, supportive, non-competitive environment in which they can play and learn more about their sport! The teams are coached by carefully selected adults who invest their time, gifts and abilities to bring Christ to the children on the field.

The Recreation Ministry will offer several programs including soccer (indoor & outdoor), flag football and cheerleading. We also offer programs for adults. Email Mark with any suggestions, comments or questions.

The Recreation Ministry needs volunteers in many different capacities. Please Email Mark or Email Joyia Buckelew if you want to get involved. 

Sports Schedule:

Fall (August - October): Flag Football / Cheerleading
Winter (November - February): Indoor Soccer
Spring (March - May): Outdoor Soccer

ADULT EXERCISE SCHEDULE

Bring your friend and neighbors. All fitness levels are welcome. No previous experience is required. Wear comfortable clothing (layers are helpful). Bring a yoga mat or towel and an old tie or belt (yoga). A $3 donation is requested for all classes; nursery is included.

9:30 - 10:30 am KICKBOXING in the South Campus Sanctuary

Tuesdays
9:30 - 10:30 am ZUMBA in the South Campus Sanctuary (Email Beth Elder with questions)
9:30 - 10:30 am DUE WEST PACERS WALK/RUN GROUP gather & start from the South Campus Sanctuary ~ Run or Walk to the newly formed Due West Pacers!!!  This program is for everyone!! Whether you enjoy walking and/or running, the focus of this group is to increase your love for outdoor fitness while developing a stronger faith in yourself and in others in our community.  We will be outside, so dress for the weather!!!!  Contact Casey Lee at 678-986-0456 with any questions.

10:45 - 11:45 am YOGA FROM A CHRISTIAN PERSPECTIVE in the South Campus Sanctuary
