June 29, 2025
As we prepare to honor our veterans and celebrate God’s foundation in our country this coming Freedom Sunday, June 29th, we want to engage the congregation in two very meaningful ways.
First, if you have served, or would like to recognize immediate family that have served or are currently serving in the armed forces, we would like to include their photo in a slideshow. Submissions are due by June 10th.
If your photo has never before been in the slideshow, please fill out the form below to submit your photo.
There is no need to resubmit a photo if we already have yours.

Carry A Flag
The second meaningful way we would like to engage our congregation is by active or veteran members of the armed forces carrying their branch’s flag during one particular anthem, “Salute to the Armed Forces.”
We need a representative at each traditional service, 8:30 or 11:00am. You may volunteer for one or both. Time commitment is only the morning of June 29th, for about an hour per service. Using the form below, secure your position! Act quickly as some branches fill up fast!
Note: Uniforms are not required. It is more meaningful to our congregation to see our own veterans and members representing than it is to see a well-fitting uniform up front.
Sing in the Choir
Finally, if you would like to join us in making the music for this special Sunday happen, now is the time to get involved! “Freedom Singers” will begin rehearsing on May 7th, and will rehearse Wednesday evenings at 7pm. Our Chancel Choir is another great alternative for those who are free during the day, with rehearsals on Wednesdays at 10:30am. You do NOT need to know how to read music. You DO need to come with a heart of praise and a willingness to express worship through song. We welcome all voice types and all voices. No audition is required to sing in choir.
